Closing solved threads

Is there a possibility to close threads which are solved, so they won't show up in the open threads list?

Of course, they would still be able to show up in searches, or maybe below the open threads list... This would help a lot in maintaining the forum.

Redmine does not have support for that AFAIK. You can only delete a thread which is not very optimal

It would be much better if people posted issues (bugs, feature requests) as real issues instead of writing it in a forum thread.

That's probably true. Honestly, I wasn't aware there is an Issue tab here. And I think most of the people just go to the Forum and post their findings and problems, and look for solutions. I will use the Issue tab more in the future

But too bad that Redmine doesn't support such an important feature.
