Any news on this? It would be great to have one media server for all the clients I have on my network.

For anyone interested, I've added support for My Plex which is now the only way to connect.
The plugin is available at https://github.com/Dahlgren/Showtime-Plex-Client
To get a pre-packaged zip archive with the plugin, use https://github.com/Dahlgren/Showtime-Plex-Client/zipball/master
