Description
i thought samba login problems were solved but i have a new one.
i have two pcs both running windows 7 64bit, both have shared folders and i can access each others folders through network.
if i restart both pcs i can enter them with showtime (latest test build). but as soon as i move some files (movies) from pc A to pc B showtime wants me to enter a login name and password if i want to enter a shared folder from pc B. i can still enter all shared folders from pc A.
i already tryed to disable/enable networkadapter of pc B, but the only thing that seems to help is a restart of pc B.
it seems to be a problem when both pc and the ps3 are in the network. it isnt a problem at my side, because it worked in previous 2.xx days. it all started when you introduced the samba login feature (im talking about the username and password screen that pops up).
i can access all shared folder with my laptop or android phone.
dont know if it is possible. maybe you can remove this feature for the latest release and upload it in this thread (just for testing) and i will report back if it works.

read something about SHARING PERMISSIONS and NTFS PERMISSIONS... they are not the same. when you understand this, you could move forward to debug what is wrong with the CIFS access to your files.
for me showtime is tested in domain and non domain environment both NAS and local storage and everything works 100%
