I would really love this feature! I want to use both a GBOX positioner and an SG2100 rotor for a C and KU band dish at the same time. Mythtv supports this setup - maybe the code can be used a framework for tvheadend. Thanks.

It would be great to get the support for USALS standard!

Ok,
if someone wants to step forward and offer to do this, then please shout now. PRs will be greatly appreciated.
However if nothing more happens on here I'll close after a few months.

Visit #hts (IRC) and have a word with JackWinter or you can try to mail him, https://www.lonelycoder.com/redmine/users/3204. I know he was planning to take a look at this but as yet has no kit of his own, but he's looking for volunteers to test (or provide access to a test system).

I should point out there is a PR for https://github.com/tvheadend/tvheadend/pull/238 for some rotor support. But its not likely to get merged for a while as we're waiting until after Andreas completes his DVB rewrite. but you're welcome to give it a go.
