Description

My Cinergy S2 HD USB receiver randomly fails to tune some QPSK transponders. It's almost always the same transponders but not all the time. This generated a lot of "No signal" errors.

I have had these problems since i first tried Tvheadend over a year ago.

I found out that it was when using S2API to tune the QPSK transponders. I have tried tuning the same transponders with szap and szap-s2 with the same results.

By using the attached patch I was able to completely eliminate my problem and Tvheadend now works flawlessly on my setup.

Some more information.

My Cinergy S2 HD USB is detected as Montage Technology DS3000/TS2020 in linux.
I run my setup on ArchLinux x86_64.

I've seen some forum posts with weird tuning errors with tuners based on the DS3000 chip. Hopefully this can help them too.

I'm pretty sure this works now, but if not please re-submit.
