Description
I am using MiniDLNA and TwonkyMedia to stream movies to the PS3. While SRT subtitles work great by now, VobSub subtitles still won't get loaded externally. I have attached an example for further analysis.
There is an interesting project VobSub2SRT (https://github.com/ruediger/VobSub2SRT) while uses parts from MPlayer to read the VobSub. Be advised that there might be compressed VobSubs around (using RAR technology).

Showtime can read VOBSUB files now. But not over UPNP/DLNA. Not sure if that's possible even.
