Description

I'm using tvheadend with Sky IT to watch channels with subtitles (italian and english). Sky IT uses DVBTXT for subtitles and they work well except for the charset. The italian ones have wrong characters instead of accented letters.

I can provide recordings or dvb dump (who do make them?) if they are useful.

I'm using xbmc pvr as frontend but I can see the wrong characters also extracting the sub-track (with mkvextract) from the recordings. In the mkv file the sub-track use UTF8.

Ops... I've just found a duplicate bug report: #333

You can close/merge it, but let us know if we can help with data/dump/log.
