Well I don't know how to attach sample because videos come form yuotube plugin (http://github.com/facanferff/showtime-plugin-youtube).
You can see problem with almost any 720p clip. Tested with ver. 3.3.328, same result.

Yes, that's true, but you can tell us the video id and the format (flv or webm)...

Please check this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GE_USPTmYXM&hd=1
It seems that videos in VP8 / vorbis have problems, H264 plays fine even 1080p.

VP8 is not accelerated on the PS3 so it will be slow, not much to do about that.

The audio is certainly corrupted but I've no idea what might be wrong.
Tried playing a lot of other vorbis audio on the ps3 without problems.
Also the file plays fine on Showtime in Linux so it must be some kind of weird combination.

Maybe I am wrong but I think youtube has h264 versions of all their videos because rarely devices like phones or tablets have VP8 hardware acceleration. This particular clip certainly has because I can play it in XMB via DLNA mediaserver without any problems and info display (select button) shows AVC / AAC.

If we can modify Youtube plugin to always return links to H264 clips it may be possible workaround.

Hey,

just select MP4 in the Youtube plugin configuration and 1080p vids start to work
